Why is “Wellness Wednesday” on Thursday? Because as I do sometimes, I made it “too hard.” I’d love to be a riveting writer. As you all know by now, I’m not full of the “WOW factor”. What I am full of is the love of God which makes my life incredible. I’m constantly amazed at what God is doing and I just can’t stop sharing it. A life motto of mine is why should you have to learn everything from scratch if I’ve learned some of it ahead of you. Hopefully you can start a few steps further down the path than I did as you move along through this journey called life. I am constantly learning from others. That is why I share other peoples thoughts along the way. I’m learning from them.
So for Wellness Wednesday on Thursday it’s simple. Keep it simple. We all have a long list of things we do or don’t do that are not healthy. Pick one, two at the most and DO THEM. Keep doing them until they become a part of your life. A few years ago I began to eat breakfast. I’ve discovered that a 1/2 cup of Oatmeal with some fruit and a bit of yogurt works well for me. It keeps me full and it’s good for me. It’s easy. I can do it and do do it nearly daily. About the same time I gave up drinking soda except for now and then as a treat. It is not a daily occurrence in any form, diet or otherwise. Why? Well for one I could never make up mind on the whole sugar substitute thing and I knew I didn’t need the calories. Two, when I drank it in the evenings I always wanted a snack to go with it!
There you have it. Keep it simple but choose to do something healthy for yourself today! This will help to make you feel better. You will know that you are making good choices and that helps to instill a positive attitude over all. What will your healthy choice be?
